Very fresh. Every order is roasted to order in our Melbourne facility and dispatched within 48 hours of being placed. This means your beans arrive at peak flavour, typically within 2–7 days of roasting depending on your location. We never ship stock that has been sitting in a warehouse.

All of our coffee is single-origin from the highlands of Nepal, grown at altitudes between 1,400 and 2,100 metres. Our beans come from smallholder farmer cooperatives in the Ilam region, the southern slopes of Annapurna, and the valleys around Pokhara. The high altitude, rich volcanic soil, and cool mountain air create naturally complex, sweet, and aromatic coffee that requires no chemical intervention.

We currently ship within Australia only. International shipping is something we are actively working on. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when it becomes available.

We offer whole bean only. We strongly recommend grinding your coffee fresh just before brewing — pre-ground coffee begins losing flavour and aroma within minutes of grinding. A quality burr grinder makes a significant difference to your cup. If you don’t have a grinder yet, most specialty coffee retailers will grind beans for you at point of purchase as a starting point.

Store your beans in a cool, dark place in an airtight container away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Avoid the refrigerator or freezer for beans you are using daily, as repeated temperature changes introduce condensation. For best flavour, aim to use your beans within 4 weeks of the roast date printed on the bag. Our bags include a one-way degassing valve to preserve freshness.

It depends on the roast profile. Our lighter roasts (such as Himalayan Sunrise) shine in filter methods like pour over, Chemex, or AeroPress, where their floral and fruity notes can fully develop. Our darker roasts (such as Everest Bold) excel as espresso or French press. We publish detailed brewing guides for each origin in our Journal.

Yes. All Everestbeans coffee is certified organic. Our partner farms use no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilisers. The natural conditions at altitude — cool temperatures, high rainfall, and rich volcanic soil — mean the plants thrive without chemical support. Each lot is certified at origin and verified by our import and roasting partners.

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely happy with your purchase for any reason, email us at hello@everestbeans.com within 30 days of receiving your order. We will arrange a full refund or replacement at no cost to you. For full details visit our Shipping & Returns page.
